Planning a wedding is personal. Food, space, and the people behind the scenes matter most. At Strock Enterprises, we welcome couples to our preserved family farm in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. This land has been part of our family for over 100 years, and it is still a working farm. When you host your wedding here, you are stepping into a place with real history and a team that knows how to take care of guests. We host weddings of many sizes, and we cook every meal ourselves. That combination shapes the experience from start to finish.
A Wedding Experience Rooted in Family, Space, and Food
Couples come to us for a setting that feels grounded and real, plus food that guests talk about after the last plate is cleared. Because we are both a venue and a catering team, the timeline, staffing, and meal service are built to work together.

Our Venue Spaces and How They Work for Weddings
We offer several venue spaces for different guest counts. The Catering Barn is our largest enclosed building. It seats up to 150 guests and includes natural light, modern bathrooms, changing rooms, tables, chairs, and on-site staff. It is heated and air-conditioned, so it works well across seasons.
The Corn Crib is made for smaller celebrations. It seats up to 65 guests at round tables and is an all-seasons facility. The Turkey Pen is an open-air venue for large gatherings. It seats over 300 guests, banquet style, and includes ceiling fans, ambient lighting, electricity, and access to modern bathrooms. It is handicap accessible. Each venue includes tables, chairs, parking, trash and recycling services, and staff support during your event.
Catering That Is Part of the Whole Plan
Catering is how the business started. We have been cooking on charcoal roasters since 1983. What began with Kurtis’s father raising pigs and cooking whole pigs grew into a full catering operation with about 15 custom-built roasters.
Wedding catering is buffet style and handled by our in-house team. Menu options include grilled chicken breast with barbecue, marinated boneless pork chops, pulled pork, brisket, shrimp au gratin, roast turkey, and whole pig roast with a service fee. Many recipes come from generations of family cooking, and our chef brings experience from running a high-end restaurant.
Catering packages include appetizers, non alcoholic beverages, buffet setup and teardown, dessert cutting and serving with plates and napkins, bussing tables, packaging leftovers, and professional staff service. Menu changes can be made up to 14 days before the event. Outside catering is not permitted. Homemade desserts are welcome.
What Is Included With Your Venue Rental
Venue rental includes tables and chairs, modern bathrooms, parking, trash and recycling services, and dedicated staff on site to assist. When you order full-service catering, you receive a discount on the venue rental. Catering minimums apply, and weddings require a minimum of 50 guests. Event duration options include a three hour event with setup and teardown time, or a four and a half hour event with extended access. Availability varies by date, guest count, and season.
Other Events We Host
Along with weddings, we host birthday parties, anniversaries, corporate events, holiday parties, and off-site catering events. Many guests first visit for a wedding, then return later for another celebration. Our farm is preserved, and you will not see shopping malls surrounding the property. You will see the same land our family has cared for across generations.
Conclusion
When you are ready, we would love to show you the spaces and talk through guest count, catering, and the right fit for your day. Call or text us at 717 697 2824, or reach out through our Contact Us page to schedule a tour.
